नलस्य बाहुकत्वेन ऋतुपर्णनगरप्रवेशः
Nala as Bāhuka enters Ṛtuparṇa’s city
इति सा तं॑ गिरिश्रेष्ठमुक्त्वा पार्थिवनन्दिनी । दमयन्ती ततो भूयो जगाम दिशमुन्तराम्,इस प्रकार उस श्रेष्ठ पर्वतसे कहकर वह राजकुमारी दमयन्ती फिर वहाँसे उत्तर दिशाकी ओर चल दी
iti sā taṁ giriśreṣṭham uktvā pārthivanandinī | damayantī tato bhūyo jagāma diśam uttarām ||
இவ்வாறு அந்தச் சிறந்த மலையிடம் உரைத்த பின், அரசகுமாரி தமயந்தி மீண்டும் அங்கிருந்து புறப்பட்டு வடதிசை நோக்கி சென்றாள்.
