यच्चेक्षितासि विस्पष्टं विशेषेण मया शुभे । तच्च कारणपूर्व हि शृणु सत्यं शुचिस्मिते,'शुभे! पवित्र मुसकानवाली उर्वशी! मैंने जो उस समय सभामें तुम्हारी ओर एकटक दृष्टिसे देखा था, उसका एक विशेष कारण था, उसे सत्य बताता हूँ सुनो--

Transliteration

yac cekṣitāsi vispaṣṭaṁ viśeṣeṇa mayā śubhe | tac ca kāraṇapūrvaṁ hi śṛṇu satyaṁ śucismite ||

Translation

சுபமே! தூய புன்னகையுடையவளே! நான் உன்னை நோக்கி தெளிவாகவும் சிறப்பாகவும் நிலைத்த பார்வையுடன் பார்த்ததற்கு ஒரு காரணம் இருந்தது. கேள்; நான் உனக்கு உண்மையையே சொல்கிறேன்.
