Educational Q&A

The colophon underscores that extraordinary power (such as celestial weapons) is to be approached through discipline and rightful instruction, and implicitly points to the ethical responsibility to employ such power only in alignment with dharma.

This is the formal closing statement of the forty-fourth chapter in the Vana Parva’s Indraloka-journey section, indicating completion of a chapter associated with Arjuna’s instruction/training in divine weapons and marking a transition to the next narrative unit.
