पप्रच्छ मातलिं प्रीत्या स चाप्येनममुवाच ह । एते सुकृतिन:ः पार्थ स्वेषु धिष्ण्येष्ववस्थिता:
papraccha mātaliṁ prītyā sa cāpy enam amuvāca ha | ete sukṛtinaḥ pārtha sveṣu dhiṣṇyeṣv avasthitāḥ ||
வைசம்பாயனர் கூறினார்—அர்ஜுனன் அன்புடன் மாதலியைக் கேட்டான்; மாதலியும் அவனிடம் கூறினான்—“ஓ பார்த்தா, இவர்கள் புண்ணியவான்கள்; தத்தம் நியமிக்கப்பட்ட தெய்வீக நிலையங்களில் தங்கியுள்ளனர்.”
