न हार्जुनसम: कश्रिद् युधि योद्धा धनुर्धर: । भविता वा पुमान् कश्चिन्मत्समो वा गदाधर:,'युद्धमें अर्जुनके समान कोई धनुर्धर अथवा मेरे समान गदाधारी योद्धा न तो है और न आगे होनेकी ही सम्भावना है
na hārjunasamaḥ kaścid yudhi yoddhā dhanurdharaḥ | bhavitā vā pumān kaścin matsamo vā gadādharaḥ ||
வைசம்பாயனர் கூறினார்— போரில் அர்ஜுனனுக்கு இணையான வில்லாளர் யாரும் இல்லை; அதுபோல, கதையாயுதம் தாங்கும் வீரர்களில் எனக்கு நிகரானவன் இன்றும் இல்லை, இனியும் எவரும் தோன்றமாட்டான்.
