तानब्रुवन् महात्मान: स्थिता: प्राजजलयस्तदा । अभ्यनुज्ञापयिष्यन्तस्तं निवासं धृतव्रता:
vaiśampāyana uvāca | tān abruvan mahātmānaḥ sthitāḥ prāñjalayas tadā | abhyanujñāpayiṣyantas taṃ nivāsaṃ dhṛtavratāḥ ||
வைசம்பாயனர் கூறினார்—அப்போது அந்த மகாத்மர்கள், விரதத்தில் உறுதியுடன், கைகூப்பி நின்று, தாங்கள் மேற்கொள்ளவிருந்த மறைவு வாழ்வு—அஞ்ஞாதவாசம்—அதற்கான அனுமதியை வேண்டி உரைத்தனர்।
