यक्ष उवाच अरणीसहितं हास्य ब्राह्मणस्य हृतं॑ मया । मृगवेषेण कौन्तेय जिज्ञासार्थ तव प्रभो

Transliteration

yakṣa uvāca araṇīsahitaṃ hāsya brāhmaṇasya hṛtaṃ mayā | mṛgaveṣeṇa kaunteya jijñāsārthaṃ tava prabho ||

Translation

யக்ஷன் கூறினான்—கௌந்தேயா! அந்தப் பிராமணனின் அரணி உடன் மத்தனக் கட்டைகளையும் நான் எடுத்துச் சென்றேன். ஆண்டவனே, மான் வேடம் பூண்டு உன் அறிவைச் சோதிக்கவே இதைச் செய்தேன்.
