ततः संवत्सरे पूर्णो यदासौ जपतां वर: । नापश्यद्‌ दुष्कृतं किंचित्‌ पृथाया: सौहृदे रत:

Transliteration

tataḥ saṃvatsare pūrṇe yadāsau japatāṃ varaḥ | nāpaśyad duṣkṛtaṃ kiṃcit pṛthāyāḥ sauhṛde rataḥ ||

Translation

பின்னர் ஒரு ஆண்டு நிறைவுற்றபோது, ஜபமும் தவமும் செய்வோரில் முதன்மையான அந்தப் பிராமணர்—பிருதா (குந்தி) மீது நட்பும் நல்வாழ்த்தும் கொண்டவராய்—அவளில் சிறிதளவும் குற்றமோ தீச்செயலோ காணவில்லை.
