कुन्तीगर्भगोपनम् तथा मञ्जूषाप्रवाहः
Kuntī’s concealed childbirth and the river-borne casket
शतश: पुरुषव्यात्र रथोदारेण जध्निवान् | तदनेन नरव्याप्र मया यत्तेन संयुगे
śataśaḥ puruṣavyāghra rathodāreṇa jadhnivān | tadanena naravyāghra mayā yattena saṁyuge
மார்கண்டேயர் கூறினார்—“ஓ நரபுலியே! அவன் தன் மாபெரும் ரதவலிமையால் போர்க்களத்தில் நூற்றுக்கணக்கானவர்களை வீழ்த்தினான். ஆகவே, ஓ நரசிறந்தவனே! அந்தப் போரில் என் முயற்சியால் இதுவே நிறைவேறியது.”
