Sāvitrī’s Dialogue with Yama and the Restoration of Satyavān
ह्ृतदारो महासत्त्वो रामो दशरथात्मज: । तुल्यारिमित्रतां प्राप्त: सुग्रीवेण धनुर्धर:,“दशरथनन्दन श्रीराम महान् शक्तिशाली वीर हैं। उनकी पत्नीका किसीने अपहरण कर लिया है। उसकी खोजके लिये उन्होंने सुग्रीवसे मित्रता की है और दोनोंने एक-दूसरेके शत्रुको शत्रु तथा मित्रको मित्र मान लिया है। श्रीरामचन्द्रजी बड़े धनुर्धर हैं
hṛtadāro mahāsattvo rāmo daśarathātmajaḥ | tulyārimitratāṁ prāptaḥ sugrīveṇa dhanurdharaḥ ||
தசரதன் புதல்வன் ராமன் மகாசத்துவமும் வல்லமையும் உடையவன்; அவன் மனைவி அபகரிக்கப்பட்டாள். அவளைத் தேடுவதற்காக அந்தப் பெரும் வில்லாளன் சுக்ரீவனுடன் நட்பு கொண்டான்; இருவரும் ஒருவரின் நண்பனை நண்பனாகவும், பகைவனைப் பகைவனாகவும் ஏற்றனர்.
