Sāvitrī’s Dialogue with Yama and the Restoration of Satyavān
सर्वभूतरुतज्ञा त्वं पश्य बुद्धया समन्विता । केन चाश्रयवान् प्राप्तो ममैष भ्रातृगन्धिक:,'प्रिये! तुम समस्त प्राणियोंकी बोली समझती हो, साथ ही बुद्धिमती भी हो। अतः सोचो तो सही, यह मेरा नाममात्रका भाई किसका सहारा लेकर यहाँ आया है?”
sarvabhūtarutajñā tvaṁ paśya buddhyā samanvitā | kena cāśrayavān prāpto mamaiṣa bhrātṛgandhikaḥ ||
அன்பே! எல்லா உயிர்களின் ஒலியும் மொழியும் நீ அறிந்தவள்; அறிவும் நிறைந்தவள். ஆகவே நன்றாக எண்ணிப் பார்—பெயரளவிலான என் சகோதரன் யாரைச் சரணடைந்து இங்கே வந்து சேர்ந்தான்?
