ततः सुतुमुलं युद्ध गन्धर्वाणां तरस्विनाम् । बभूव भीमवेगानां पाण्डवानां च भारत
tataḥ sutumulaṃ yuddhaṃ gandharvāṇāṃ tarasvinām | babhūva bhīmavegānāṃ pāṇḍavānāṃ ca bhārata ||
அதன்பின், ஓ பாரதா! வலிமைமிக்க கந்தர்வர்களுக்கும் பீமவேகமுடைய பாண்டவர்களுக்கும் இடையில் மிகக் கடுமையான, பேரொலியுடன் கூடிய போர் வெடித்தெழுந்தது।
