देवानां दानवानां च मांसशोणितकर्दमम् | अनयो देवलोकस्य सहसैवाभ्यदृश्यत
devānāṁ dānavānāṁ ca māṁsaśoṇitakardamam | anayo devalokasya sahasaivābhyadṛśyata ||
மார்கண்டேயர் கூறினார்—தேவர்களுக்கும் தானவர்களுக்கும் உரிய மாம்சமும் இரத்தமும் கலந்த சேறு திடீரென தேவலோகத்தில் தோன்றியது.
