त्रासितं विविधैर्बाणै: कृतं चैव पराड्मुखम् । तदनन्तर समस्त देवताओंने उस युद्धमें दानवसेनाको अपने विविध बाणोंके प्रहारसे भयभीत करके रणभूमिसे विमुख कर दिया
trāsitaṃ vividhair bāṇaiḥ kṛtaṃ caiva parāṅmukham | tadanantaraṃ samastadevatābhiḥ asmin yuddhe dānavasenā vividhabāṇaprahāraiḥ bhayabhītā kṛtvā raṇabhūmeḥ vimukhīkṛtā ||
பலவகை அம்புகளால் தாக்கப்பட்ட தானவ சேனை அச்சமடைந்து பின்வாங்கியது. அதன் பின் அந்தப் போரில் எல்லா தேவர்களும் தங்கள் நானாவித அம்புத் தாக்குதல்களால் தானவர்களின் படையைப் பயமுறுத்தி போர்க்களத்திலிருந்து திரும்பச் செய்தனர்.
