वेदोच्चारणकार्यार्थमयुक्त तत् त्वया कृतम् तव शोकेन वृद्धौ तावन्धी भूती तपस्विनौ
vedoccāraṇakāryārtham ayukta tat tvayā kṛtam | tava śokena vṛddhau tāv andhī bhūtī tapasvinau ||
தர்மவ்யாதன் கூறினான்—வேத உச்சாரணமும் கர்மக் கடமையும் என்ற காரணத்திற்காகவும் நீ செய்தது முறையல்ல. உன் துயரமும் அலட்சியமும் காரணமாக அந்த இரு முதிய தவசிகள் குருடர்களாகி—அசஹாயர்களாயினர்।
