अग्निनाम-वंश-निरूपणम् | Agni-Names and Lineage Enumeration
विधिस्तु बलवान ब्रह्मन् दुस्तरं हि पुरा कृतम् । पुरा कृतस्य पापस्य कर्मदोषो भवत्ययम्
vidhis tu balavān brahman dustaraṁ hi purā kṛtam | purā kṛtasya pāpasya karmadoṣo bhavaty ayam ||
ஓ பிராமணரே! விதி (தெய்வம்) வலிமையானது; முன் செய்ததைத் தாண்டுவது கடினம். கர்மத்தின் இவ்வழுக்கு—முன்செய்த பாபத்தின் பலன் தவிர்க்க முடியாமல் வெளிப்படும்.
