धारणं चापि विद्यानां तीर्थानामवगाहनम्
dhāraṇaṃ cāpi vidyānāṃ tīrthānām avagāhanam
கல்விகளை உறுதியாகக் காத்து (நிலையான பயிற்சியுடன்) நடத்தலும், தீர்த்தங்களில் அவகாஹனம் (புனித நீராடல்/மூழ்கல்) செய்தலும்—இவையும் மேற்கொள்ளத்தக்கவை.
