नियच्छन्ति परां बुद्धिं शिष्टाचारान्विता जना: । उपाध्यायमते युक्ता: स्थित्या धर्मार्थदर्शिन:
niyacchanti parāṁ buddhiṁ śiṣṭācārānvitā janāḥ | upādhyāyamate yuktāḥ sthityā dharmārthadarśinaḥ ||
சிஷ்டாசாரத்தில் நிலைபெற்றோர் தம் உயர்ந்த புத்தியையும் கட்டுப்படுத்தி நிலைநிறுத்துவர். ஆசான்களின் ஆலோசனைக்கு ஒத்திசைந்து ஒழுக்கத்தில் நிலைத்து, அதனால் தர்மமும் உண்மையான நலனும் எது என்பதைத் தெளிவாகக் காண்பர்.
