नैके युगसहस्रान्तास्त्वया दृष्टा महामुने । न चापीह सम: कश्रिदायुष्मान् दृश्यते तव,“महामुने! आपने हजार-हजार युगोंके अन्तमें होनेवाले अनेक महाप्रलयके दृश्य देखे हैं। इस संसारमें आपके समान बड़ी आयुवाला दूसरा कोई पुरुष नहीं दिखायी देता
naike yugasahasrāntās tvayā dṛṣṭā mahāmune | na cāpīha samaḥ kaścid āyuṣmān dṛśyate tava ||
மகாமுனியே! ஆயிரமாயிரம் யுகங்களின் முடிவில் நிகழும் பல மாபெரும் பிரளயக் காட்சிகளை நீர் கண்டுள்ளீர்; இவ்வுலகில் உம்மைப் போல நீண்ட ஆயுளுடையவர் வேறு எவரும் காணப்படார்.
