यस्मात् पूर्व मनुष्येषु ज्यायांसं मामिहाब्रवी: । सर्वदेवैश्व विप्रर्षे सम्मितं श्रेष्ठमेव च
yasmāt pūrvaṁ manuṣyeṣu jyāyāṁsaṁ mām ihābravīḥ | sarvadevaiś ca viprarṣe samitaṁ śreṣṭham eva ca ||
“ஏனெனில் முன்பு மனிதர்களிடையே இங்கே நீ என்னை மூத்தவனும் உயர்ந்தவனுமாக அழைத்தாய்; ஓ பிராமணரிஷியே, மேலும் எல்லாத் தேவர்களாலும் அங்கீகரிக்கப்பட்டவனும் நிச்சயமாகச் சிறந்தவனும் நான் என நீ கூறினாய்.”
