सर्वसामर्थ्यलिप्सूनां पापो भवति निश्चय: । अधर्मज्ञोडवलिप्तश्न बालबुद्धिरमर्षण:
sarvasāmarthyalipsūnāṁ pāpo bhavati niścayaḥ | adharmajño 'ḍavaliptaś ca bālabuddhir amarṣaṇaḥ ||
முழு வல்லமையும் முழு அதிகாரமும் வேண்டுமென ஆசைப்படுவோரிடத்தில் தவிர்க்க முடியாமல் பாவமான தீர்மானம் எழும். அத்தகையவன் அதர்மத்தை அறியான்; அகந்தையால் வீங்குவான்; குழந்தைபோன்ற தீர்ப்புத்திறன் உடையவன்; கட்டுப்பாடையும் அறிவுரையையும் பொறுக்காத அசக்தியுடையவன்.
