Kubera’s Fivefold Nīti and Protection of the Pāṇḍavas (वैश्रवणोपदेशः)
अपश्यंस्ते नरव्यापत्रा गन्धमादनसानुषु । तथैव पद्मषण्डैश्वू मण्डितांश्ष समन्ततः,इस प्रकार वे नरश्रेष्ठ गन्थमादनके शिखरोंपर पद्मषण्डमण्डित तालाबोंको सब ओर देखते हुए आगे बढ़ रहे थे
apश्यṃs te naravyāghrā gandhamādana-sānuṣu | tathaiva padmaṣaṇḍaiś ca maṇḍitāṃs sarvataḥ ||
வைசம்பாயனர் கூறினார்—அந்த நரப்புலிகள் முன்னே சென்றபோது கந்தமாதனத்தின் சரிவுகளையும் சிகரங்களையும் கண்டனர்; அதுபோல எல்லாத் திசைகளிலும் தாமரைத் தொகுதிகளால் அலங்கரிக்கப்பட்ட குளங்களையும் நீர்நிலைகளையும் பார்த்தனர்।
