ūrū rājñaḥ samāsādya kapotaḥ śyenajād bhayāt | śaraṇārthī tadā rājan nililye bhayapīḍitaḥ ||
பருந்தின் அச்சத்தால் நடுங்கிய அந்தப் புறா அரசனின் தொடைகளில் (மடியில்) வந்து சேர்ந்தது. அடைக்கலம் நாடிய அது, அரசனே, பயத்தால் வாடி அங்கேயே ஒளிந்தது.
