Somaka–Jantu Ākhyāna: Desire-Driven Sacrifice and Shared Karmic Consequence
अथ तं नरके घोरे पच्यमानं ददर्श सः । तमपृच्छत् किमर्थ त्वं नरके पच्यसे द्विज
atha taṃ narake ghore pacyamānaṃ dadarśa saḥ | tam apṛcchat kimartha tvaṃ narake pacyase dvija ||
அப்போது அவன் அந்தப் பிராமணன் கொடிய நரகத்தில் எரிந்து வேதனைப்படுவதை கண்டான். அவனை நோக்கி—“ஓ இருமுறை பிறந்தவனே! எந்த காரணத்தால் நீ நரகத்தில் சுடப்படுகிறாய்?” என்று கேட்டான்.
