च्यवन-यज्ञे अश्विनोः सोमग्रहण-विवादः

ततोअस्मै प्राहरद् वज्ज॑ घोररूपं शचीपति: । तस्य प्रहरतो बाहुं स्तम्भयामास भार्गव:,तब शचीपति इन्द्र उनके ऊपर भयंकर वज्र छोड़ने लगे, परंतु वे जैसे ही प्रहार करने लगे, भृगुनन्दन च्यवनने उनकी भुजाको स्तंभित कर दिया
tato 'smai prāharad vajraṃ ghorarūpaṃ śacīpatiḥ | tasya praharato bāhuṃ stambhayāmāsa bhārgavaḥ ||
அப்போது சசீபதி இந்திரன் அவர்மீது பயங்கரமான வஜ்ரத்தை எறிந்தான்; ஆனால் தாக்க முனைந்த வேளையில் பார்கவச் ச்யவனர் அவன் கரத்தை உறையச் செய்தார்।
