वैशम्पायन उवाच प्रभासतीर्थ सम्प्राप्य पुण्यं तीर्थ महोदथे: । वृष्णय: पाण्डवान् वीरा: परिवार्योपतस्थिरे,वैशम्पायनजीने कहा--राजन्! प्रभासक्षेत्र समुद्र-तटवर्ती एक पुण्यमय तीर्थ है। वहाँ जाकर वृष्णिवंशी वीर पाण्डवोंको चारों ओरसे घेरकर बैठ गये
vaiśampāyana uvāca | prabhāsatīrthaṃ samprāpya puṇyaṃ tīrthaṃ mahodadheḥ | vṛṣṇayaḥ pāṇḍavān vīrāḥ parivāryopatasthire ||
வைசம்பாயனர் கூறினார்—அரசே! பேர்கடலின் கரையில் உள்ள பிரபாசத் தீர்த்தம் மிகப் புனிதமானது. அங்கே சென்றதும் வ்ருஷ்ணி குல வீரர்கள் பாண்டவர்களை எல்லாத் திசைகளிலும் சூழ்ந்து மரியாதையுடன் அருகில் நின்றனர்.
