विनदन्तं महानादं भिन्नभेरीस्वनं बली । भ्रामयामास सुचिरं विस्फुरन्तमचेतसम्,राक्षस किर्मीर फूटे हुए नगारेकी-सी आवाजमें बड़े जोर-जोरसे चीत्कार करने और छटपटाने लगा। बलवान भीम उसे देरतक घुमाते रहे, इससे वह मूर्छित हो गया
vinadantaṃ mahānādaṃ bhinnabherīsvanaṃ balī | bhrāmayāmāsa suciraṃ visphurantam acetasam ||
உடைந்த முரசின் ஒலிபோல் பேரொலியுடன் அலறி, உணர்விழந்து துடித்துக் கொண்டிருந்த ராட்சசன் கீர்மீரனை வலிமைமிக்க பீமன் நீண்ட நேரம் சுழற்றிக் கொண்டிருந்தான்; இறுதியில் அவன் மயங்கி விழுந்தான்।
