नारदेन गरुडात्मजानां नामकीर्तनम् | Nārada’s Enumeration of Garuḍa’s Descendants
नैते शक्रेण नानयेन यमेन वरुणेन वा । शक्यन्ते वशमानेतुं तथैव धनदेन च,इन्द्र, यम, वरुण, कुबेर तथा और कोई देवता भी इन्हें वशमें नहीं कर सकता
naite śakreṇa nānyena yamena varuṇena vā | śakyante vaśam ānetuṃ tathaiva dhanadena ca ||
சக்ரன் (இந்திரன்), யமன், வருணன், தனதன் (குபேரன்) அல்லது வேறு எந்தத் தேவனாலும் இவர்களை அடக்க இயலாது.
नारद उवाच
Some forces—especially firm resolve backed by strength and destiny—cannot be restrained even by the highest authorities; therefore, ethical statecraft requires foresight, restraint, and timely reconciliation rather than relying on mere power to subdue the inevitable.
Nārada emphasizes to his listener that the persons being discussed are beyond subjugation: even major deities like Indra, Yama, Varuṇa, and Kubera cannot bring them under control, heightening the seriousness of the political crisis leading toward war.
