श्रिया ज्वलन्तं प्रासादमारुरोह महायशा: । द्वारपालोंने रोक-टोक नहीं की। उस राजभवनकी तीन ड्योढ़ियाँ पार करके महायशस्वी श्रीकृष्ण एक ऐसे प्रासादपर आरूढ़ हुए
śriyā jvalantaṃ prāsādam āruroha mahāyaśāḥ |
ūcur mādhavaṃ vīraṃ kuravo madhusūdanam |
nivedayāmo vārṣṇeya sa-ratnāṃs te gṛhān vayam ||
மிகப் புகழ்மிக்க கிருஷ்ணர் செல்வச் சிறப்பால் ஜொலிக்கும் அரண்மனையில் ஏறினார். அப்போது குருக்கள் வீரன் மதுசூதனன் மாதவனை நோக்கி—“ஓ வார்ஷ்ணேயா! ரத்தினங்களால் நிறைந்த எங்கள் இல்லங்களை உமது சேவைக்காக அர்ப்பணிக்கிறோம்” என்றனர்।
