विदुरस्य कृष्णं प्रति शमोपदेशः

कृतार्था भुज्जते दूता: पूजां गृह्नन्ति चैव ह । कृतार्थ मां सहामात्यं समर्चिष्यसि भारत
kṛtārthā bhuñjate dūtāḥ pūjāṃ gṛhṇanti caiva ha | kṛtārthaṃ māṃ sahāmātyaṃ samarcayiṣyasi bhārata ||
தூதர்கள் தங்கள் பணி நிறைவேறிய பின்பே உணவும் மரியாதையும் ஏற்றுக்கொள்வது வழக்கம். ஆகவே, ஓ பாரதா! என் நோக்கம் நிறைவேறிய பின், என் அமைச்சர்களுடன் என்னையும் முறையாகப் போற்றி மரியாதை செய்.
