Omens and Reception During Keśava’s Departure
पाण्डवैर्धार्तराष्ट्राणां प्रतिपाद्यमनामयम् । समर्थ: प्रशमं चैव कर्तुमहसि केशव,केशव! पाण्डवोंसहित धृतराष्ट्रपुत्रोंका मंगल सम्पादन करना आपका कर्तव्य है। आप उभयपक्षमें संधि करानेकी शक्ति भी रखते हैं
pāṇḍavair dhārtarāṣṭrāṇāṁ pratipādyam anāmayam | samarthaḥ praśamaṁ caiva kartum arhasi keśava keśava ||
ஓ கேசவா! பாண்டவர்களுக்கும் த்ருதராஷ்டிர புத்திரர்களுக்கும் இருவருக்கும் நலனும் நலமுடனான பாதுகாப்பும் நிலைநிறுத்தப்பட வேண்டும். இரு தரப்பினரிடையே அமைதியையும் சமரசத்தையும் ஏற்படுத்த நீ வல்லவன்; ஆகவே நீயே சமாதானத்தை நிறைவேற்ற வேண்டும்.
