अध्याय ८ — शल्यस्य सत्कारः, वरदानं, पाण्डवसमागमश्च (Śalya’s Reception, the Boon, and Meeting the Pāṇḍavas)
आजगाम सभामन्यां देवावसथवर्चसम् | स तत्र विषयैर्युक्त: कल्याणैरतिमानुषै:
ājagāma sabhām anyāṃ devāvasathavarcasaṃ | sa tatra viṣayair yuktaḥ kalyāṇair atimānuṣaiḥ ||
பின்னர் அவர் தேவர்களின் வாசஸ்தலம்போல் ஒளிவீசும் மற்றொரு சபைமண்டபத்திற்குச் சென்றார். அங்கே அது மங்களகரமான, அற்புதமான, மனிதக் கலைக்கு அப்பாற்பட்ட சிறப்பான உபகரணங்களால் நிறைந்திருந்தது.
