Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Appraisal of Strength and Preference for Śama
दुरासदं यस्य दिव्यं गाण्डीवं धनुरुत्तमम् । वारुणौ चाक्षयौ दिव्यौ शरपूर्णो महेषुधी
vaiśampāyana uvāca | durāsadaṃ yasya divyaṃ gāṇḍīvaṃ dhanur uttamam | vāruṇau cākṣayau divyau śarapūrṇo maheṣudhī ||
யாரிடம் எதிர்க்க இயலாத தெய்வீகமான உத்தம காந்தீவ வில் உள்ளது; வருணன் அளித்த இரண்டு தெய்வீக, அழியாத அம்பறாத்தூணிகள் உள்ளன; மேலும் அம்புகளால் நிரம்பிய மகா ஏவுகணைத் திறன் கொண்ட வில்லாளன் ஆவான்.
