Udyoga Parva, Adhyāya 55 — Sañjaya’s Report on Pāṇḍava Readiness and Arjuna’s Dhvaja
भीमसेनानुरोधाय हनूमान् मारुतात्मज: । आत्मप्रतिकृतिं तस्मिन् ध्वज आरोपयिष्यति,भीमसेनके अनुरोधकी रक्षाके लिये पवननन्दन हनुमानजी उस ध्वजमें युद्धके समय अपने स्वरूपको स्थापित करेंगे
sañjaya uvāca |
bhīmasenānurodhāya hanūmān mārutātmajaḥ |
ātmapratikṛtiṁ tasmin dhvaja āropayiṣyati ||
சஞ்சயன் கூறினான்— பீமசேனனின் வேண்டுகோளை மதித்து அவனைப் பாதுகாக்க, வாயுபுத்திரன் ஹனுமான் போர்காலத்தில் அந்தக் கொடியில் ஏறி, அங்கே தன் உருவத்தின் ஒரு பிரதிபலிப்பை நிறுவுவான்।
