वीथीं कुर्वन् महाबाहुद्रावयन् मम वाहिनीम् । नृत्यन्निव गदापाणियगान्तं दर्शयिष्यति,महाबाहु भीम मेरी सेनामें घुसकर अपने रथके लिये रास्ता बनाता, मेरी विशाल वाहिनीको खदेड़ता और हाथमें गदा लिये नृत्य-सा करता हुआ जब आगे बढ़ेगा, तब प्रलयकालका दृश्य उपस्थित कर देगा
vīthīṁ kurvan mahābāhur drāvayan mama vāhinīm | nṛtyann iva gadāpāṇir yāgāntaṁ darśayiṣyati ||
த்ருதராஷ்டிரன் கூறினான்—அந்த மகாபாகு என் படையினுள் வழி வெட்டி, என் சேனையை ஓடவிட்டு, கதை கையில் நடனமாடுவது போல முன்னேறுவான்; அப்போது போர்க்களம் யுகாந்தக் காட்சிபோல் தோன்றும்.
