த்ருதராஷ்டிரன் கூறினான்—அந்தப் பீமபலத்தினாலே முன்காலத்தில் யக்ஷரும் ராக்ஷசரும் கொல்லப்பட்டனர்.
धृतराष्ट उवाच

Dhṛtarāṣṭra recalls an earlier episode in which a powerful figure (implicitly a Pandava warrior renowned for strength) killed formidable Yakṣas and Rākṣasas, using that memory to assess the danger and stakes of the unfolding conflict.
