श्री: सुखस्येह संवास: सा चापि परिपन्थिनी । ब्राह्मी सुदुर्लभा श्रीहिं प्रज्ञाहीनेन क्षत्रिय,राजन्‌! लोकमें ऐश्वर्यरूपा लक्ष्मी सुखका घर मानी गयी है, पर वह भी (कल्याणमार्गमें) लुटेरोंकी भाँति विघ्न डालनेवाली है; किंतु ब्रह्मज्ञानमयी लक्ष्मी प्रज्ञाहीन मनुष्यके लिये सर्वथा दुर्लभ है

Transliteration

śrīḥ sukhasyeha saṃvāsaḥ sā cāpi paripanthinī | brāhmī sudurlabhā śrīḥ prajñāhīnena kṣatriya, rājan ||

Translation

அரசே! இவ்வுலகில் செல்வமெனும் ஸ்ரீ இன்பத்தின் இல்லமாகக் கருதப்படுகிறது; ஆனால் அதே ஸ்ரீ நல்வழியில் வழிப்பறிக்காரனைப் போலத் தடையாகவும் நிற்கிறது. ஆனால் பிரம்மஞானமெனும் ஸ்ரீ, விவேகம் அற்ற க்ஷத்திரியனுக்கு மிக அரிது.
