अध्याय ३९: विदुरेण धृतराष्ट्राय नीत्युपदेशः

धृतराष्ट उवाच एवमेतद् यथा त्वं मामनुशाससि नित्यदा । ममापि च मति: सौम्य भवत्येवं यथा55तथ माम्
dhṛtarāṣṭra uvāca evam etad yathā tvaṁ mām anuśāsasi nityadā | mamāpi ca matiḥ saumya bhavaty evaṁ yathā tathā mām ||
திருதராஷ்டிரன் கூறினான்—நீ எப்போதும் எனக்கு அறிவுறுத்துவது போலவே அது உண்மை. மென்மையானவனே, என் அறிவும் அதற்கேற்ப அமைந்து, பொருளை யதார்த்தமாகவே நான் ஏற்றுக்கொள்கிறேன்।
