अतो<न््यथा रथिना फाल्गुनेन भीमेन चैवाहवर्दशितेन । परासिक्तान धार्तराष्टांश्व विद्धि प्रदह्ममानान् कर्मणा स्वेन पापान्
ato 'nyathā rathinā phālgunena bhīmena caivāhava-darśitena | parāsiktān dhārtarāṣṭrāṃś ca viddhi pradahyamānān karmaṇā svena pāpān, saṃjaya ||
அப்படி அல்லாமல்—குருக்கள் நீதிக்கு மாறான மனப்பாங்கைக் காட்டினால்—சஞ்சயா, அறிந்துகொள்: த்ருதராஷ்டிரரின் பாவமிகு புதல்வர்கள் ரதவீரன் பால்குனன் (அர்ஜுனன்) மற்றும் போருக்கு ஆயத்தமான பீமன் ஆகியோரால் தாக்கப்பட்டு சிதறடிக்கப்படுவர். தம் செயல்களின் பலன் எனும் தீயில் எரிந்து, தம் குற்றத்தாலேயே அழிவர்.
