ते चेदिमे कौरवाणामुपाय- मवगच्छेयुरवधेनैव पार्था: । धर्मत्राणं पुण्यमेषां कृतं स्था- दार्ये वृत्ते भीमसेनं निगृहा
te ced ime kauravāṇām upāyam avagaccheyur avadhenaiva pārthāḥ | dharmatrāṇaṁ puṇyam eṣāṁ kṛtaṁ sthād ārye vṛtte bhīmasenaṁ nigṛhya ||
வாயு கூறினார்— “இந்த பார்த்தர்கள் கௌரவர்களை வதம் செய்யாமலே ஏதாவது வழியை அறிந்தால், அவர்கள் பீமசேனனை அடக்கி ஆரியர்கள் கடைப்பிடித்த நற்கருமத்தில் நிலைநிறுத்துவர்; அப்போது அவர்களின் செயல் தர்மரட்சணை எனும் புண்ணியமாகும். இதை நன்றாக உணர்க.”
