मासार्धमासानथ नक्षत्रयोगा- नतन्द्रितश्रन्द्रमा श्चा भ्युपैति । अतन्द्रितो दहते जातवेदा: समिध्यमान: कर्म कुर्वन् प्रजाभ्य:
māsārdhamāsān atha nakṣatrayogān atandritaś candramā cābhyupaiti | atandrito dahate jātavedāḥ samidhyamānaḥ karma kurvan prajābhyaḥ ||
சந்திரனும் சோம்பலை விட்டு கர்மத்தாலேயே மாதங்கள், அரைமாதங்கள், நட்சத்திரச் சேர்க்கைகளை அடைகிறான். அதுபோல ஜாதவேதஸ் (அக்னி) சோம்பலின்றி உயிர்களின் நலனுக்காகத் தன் கடமையைச் செய்து, எரியூட்டப்படும்போது எரித்தல் செயலை நிறைவேற்றுகிறான்.
