नतु युक्त रणे हन्तुं दिव्यैरस्त्रै: पृथगजनम् । आर्जवेनैव युद्धेन विजेष्यामो वयं परान्
na tu yuktaṃ raṇe hantuṃ divyair astraiḥ pṛthagjanam | ārjavenaiva yuddhena vijeṣyāmo vayaṃ parān ||
யுதிஷ்டிரன் கூறினான்—போரில் சாதாரண மக்களை தெய்வீக ஆயுதங்களால் கொல்வது முறையல்ல. ஆகவே நேர்மையும் தர்மமும் கொண்ட போரினாலேயே நாம் பகைவரை வெல்வோம்।
