हन्यामहं महाभाग पाण्डवानामनीकिनीम् | दिवसे दिवसे कृत्वा भागं प्रागाह्लिकं मम,महाभाग! मैं प्रतिदिन पाण्डवोंकी सेनाको पहले अपने दैनिक भागमें विभक्त करके उसका वध करूँगा
hanyām ahaṃ mahābhāga pāṇḍavānām anīkinīm | divase divase kṛtvā bhāgaṃ prāgāhlikaṃ mama ||
ஓ மகாபாகனே, நான் பாண்டவர்களின் சேனையை அழிப்பேன். தினந்தோறும் விடியற்காலத்தில் எனக்குரிய நிர்ணயிக்கப்பட்ட நாள்பகுதியை முதலில் ஒதுக்கி வைத்து, நாள் தோறும் அவர்களைச் சாய்த்திடுவேன்।
