Drupada’s Alarm and Inquiry Regarding Śikhaṇḍinī (द्रुपदस्य भय-विमर्शः)
महाराज! इसी कारणसे स्थूणाकर्ण आज आपके सामने नहीं उपस्थित हो रहे हैं। यह सुनकर आप जैसा उचित समझें, करें। आज आपका विमान यहीं रहना चाहिये ।। आनीयतां स्थूण इति ततो यक्षाधिपोडब्रवीत् । कर्तास्मि निग्रहं तस्य प्रत्युवाच पुन: पुन:,तब यक्षराजने कहा--'स्थूणाकर्णको यहाँ बुला ले आओ। मैं उसे दण्ड दूँगा'। यह बात उन्होंने बार-बार दुहरायी
ānīyatāṃ sthūṇa iti tato yakṣādhipo 'bravīt | kartāsmi nigrahaṃ tasya pratyuvāca punaḥ punaḥ ||
அப்போது யக்ஷாதிபதி கூறினார்— “ஸ்தூணாகர்ணனை இங்கே கொண்டு வாருங்கள்.” அவர் மீண்டும் மீண்டும் சொன்னார்— “நான் அவனை அடக்கி தண்டிப்பேன்.”
