भीष्मस्वप्न-स्मृत्युपाख्यानम् | Bhīṣma’s Dream-Linked Recollection of the Paraśurāma Combat
सा कन्या तु महाराज प्रविश्याश्रममण्डलम् | यमुनातीरमाश्रित्य तपस्तेपेडतिमानुषम्,महाराज! फिर उस कन्याने आश्रममण्डलमें पहुँचकर यमुनाके तटका आश्रय ले ऐसी कठोर तपस्या की, जो मानवीय शक्तिसे परे है
sā kanyā tu mahārāja praviśyāśramamaṇḍalam | yamunātīram āśritya tapas tepe 'timānuṣam ||
ஓ மன்னரே! அந்தக் கன்னி ஆசிரமப் பரப்பில் நுழைந்து யமுனைத் துறையைச் சார்ந்து, மனித வல்லமையை மீறும் அளவுக்கு மிகக் கடுமையான தவத்தை மேற்கொண்டாள்.
