प्रजज्वाल नभो राजन् धूमायन्ते दिशो दश । न स्थातुमन्तरिक्षे च शेकुराकाशगास्तदा
prajajvāla nabho rājan dhūmāyante diśo daśa | na sthātum antarīkṣe ca śekur ākāśagās tadā ||
பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்— ஓ அரசே! வானம் தீப்பற்றியதுபோல் எரிந்தது; பத்து திசைகளும் புகையால் நிரம்பின. அப்போது ஆகாயத்தில் உலாவுவோரும் நடுவானில் நிலைத்திருக்க இயலவில்லை.
