तस्य दारक्रियां तात चिकीर्षुरहमप्युत । अनुरूपादिव कुलादित्येव च मनो दथे,तात! तब मैंने अपने योग्य कुलसे कन्या लाकर उनका विवाह करनेका निश्चय किया

Transliteration

tasya dārakriyāṃ tāta cikīrṣur aham apy uta | anurūpād iva kulād ity eva ca mano dadhe, tāta ||

Translation

குழந்தையே! அப்போது நானும் அவனுடைய திருமணச் சடங்குகளை நடத்த விரும்பி, அவனுக்கேற்ற உயர்குடியிலிருந்து மணப்பெண்ணை அழைத்து வர மனத்தில் தீர்மானித்தேன்.
