गाण्डीवं च धर्नुर्दिव्यं ते चाश्वा वातरंहस: । अभेद्यं कवचं दिव्यमक्षय्यौ च महेषुधी,दिव्य गाण्डीव धनुष है, वायुके समान वेगशाली अअश्व हैं, अभेद्य दिव्य कव४च है तथा अक्षय बाणोंसे भरे हुए दो महान् तरकस हैं
gāṇḍīvaṃ ca dhanuḥ divyaṃ te cāśvā vātarāṃhasaḥ | abhedyaṃ kavacaṃ divyam akṣayyau ca maheṣudhī ||
பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்—உன்னிடம் தெய்வீகமான காண்டீவ வில் உள்ளது; உன் குதிரைகள் காற்றைப் போல வேகமுடையவை. உன் தெய்வீக கவசம் ஊடுருவ முடியாதது; மேலும் அச்சய அம்புகளால் நிரம்பிய இரண்டு பெரிய தூணிகளும் உண்டு.
