कुरुक्षेत्रे सेनानिवेशवृत्तान्तः — Dhṛtarāṣṭra Questions Saṃjaya on the Deployed Armies
रणयज्ञे प्रवितते सुभीमे लोमहर्षणे | दीक्षितं चिररात्राय श्रुत्वा तत्र युधिष्ठिर:
raṇayajñe pravṛtte subhīme lomaharṣaṇe | dīkṣitaṃ cirarātrāya śrutvā tatra yudhiṣṭhiraḥ | janamejaya uvāca ||
ஜனமேஜயன் கூறினான்— அந்த மிகப் பயங்கரமும் ரோமாஞ்சமூட்டும் ‘ரணயாகம்’ தொடங்கி, பீஷ்மர் நீண்டகாலத்திற்காக அதன் தீட்சையை (நீண்ட யுத்தவிரதத்தை) ஏற்றார் என்று கேட்டபின், யுதிஷ்டிரன் என்ன சொன்னான்? பீமசேனனும் அர்ஜுனனும் என்ன சொன்னார்கள்? மேலும் ஸ்ரீகிருஷ்ணன் தன் தீர்ப்பை எவ்வாறு வெளிப்படுத்தினார்?
