न चातिष्ठत् पितुः शास्त्रे बलदर्पविमोहित:ः । अवमेने च पितरं 40 क्षाप्पपराजित:,“बलके घमंडसे वे मोहित हो रहे थे कि पिताके आदेशपर चलते ही नहीं थे। किसीसे पराजित न होनेवाले यदु अपने भाइयों और पिताका भी अपमान करते थे
na cātiṣṭhat pituḥ śāstre baladarpavimohitaḥ | avamene ca pitaraṃ kṣāpraparājitaḥ ||
தன் வலத்தின் அகந்தையால் மயங்கியவன், தந்தையின் கட்டளையில் நிலைக்கவில்லை. பிறரால் வெல்ல முடியாதவன், தன் தந்தையையே இகழ்ந்தான்.
